Patrick Stevens, who is no stranger to the art of sonic warfare, co-founded the brutal and uncompromising duo, Sonar. Their unrelenting soundscapes and thunderous rhythms helped to establish a new standard for industrial music and earned them the status of pioneers of “rhythmic noise” music.
Since 1998, Hypnoskull has become one of the most crucial and influential projects of the legendary ant-zen label, thanks to their distinct style that caught the attention of the worldwide electronic underground network of industrial music. The release of their albums, including ‘Rythmusmaschine 1-2’ in 1998, ‘Ffwd>Burnout!’ in 1999, and ‘Electronic Music Means War To Us’ in 2001, has gained them a larger audience and propelled them to new heights, cementing their reputation as an influential force in the industrial music scene.
