GLITCHRAS

‘Glitchras’ – Schema Musicalis & Olla Via – are musicians in the experimental electronic scene based in Athens. Their collaboration is fueled by a shared passion for researching creative music technology and performing arts, aiming to bring audiovisual works to life. Through years of working together, they have developed a unified approach to generating new artistic creations. Their individual sound delves into the realm of noise/glitch/drone electroacoustic music, marked by an ‘edgy’ style characterized by pushing boundaries, transgressions, and delicate balances. They have showcased numerous live projects in Athens.

TAYLOR SAVAGE

Born and raised in Athens Taylor Savage has been djing for more than a decade. Performing around Athens, in bars, underground events and parties he has developed his own bold and eclectic sound. Out of his habit of still performing with his Cdjs 100s comes this live. A trip into noise and glitch. By exploiting a defect of his equipment he is able to create these sounds that are both gripping and harsh.

SUPPORT THE COMMUNITY

Deep within the heart of the DIY music scene, a vibrant force pulses, nurturing awareness, shaping convictions, and staunchly resisting any attempts to stifle its vitality. Through self-organization and collaboration within this community, we endeavor to deconstruct the prevailing organizer-spectator paradigm that governs profit-driven commercial entertainment spaces. Instead, we seize control by curating and orchestrating our own performances.

We eschew the concept of passive consumption and, in its place, cultivate an environment where all are encouraged to actively partake, contribute, and immerse themselves in the music and the community it fosters. Central to this ethos is the promotion of anti-commercialism, a principle to which we remain steadfastly committed. Despite the various expenses involved, we unwaveringly uphold the tradition of providing a contribution box at the entrance of our events, allowing attendees to give what they can, thus ensuring that financial constraints never become a barrier to participation.

To enable these endeavors and bring our ongoing projects to fruition, we rely on your invaluable financial support. Your contributions will directly bolster initiatives such as the upkeep of our sound system and the enhancement of our event space, among others.

In extending your financial support, you become an integral cog in this endeavor, championing the values of creativity and grassroots collaboration. Together, we forge a vibrant and inclusive DIY music community that exalts the potency of collective expression.

To ensure that all individuals who interact with us feel safe and comfortable, we operate under a zero-tolerance policy against any form of discrimination, including but not limited to racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and ableism.

If you experience discomfort or come across any behavior that is reproachable, please contact an organizer as promptly as possible.
