ELITE TEKNO SYMPOSIUM
STEFAN ZMK

With excitement, Hardline Soundsystem presents Stefan ZMK as a guest at the upcoming Elite Tekno Symposium sessions. Hailing from Rotterdam, Netherlands, Stefan ZMK has solidified his presence as a hardcore tekno artist. A DJ, mastering engineer, producer, and promoter since 1998, his explorations defy electronic boundaries, seeking hidden beauty within darkness. Anticipation builds for sets that remain authentic, evoking excitement among enthusiasts.

Since 1998, Stefan ZMK’s name has intertwined with the Dutch Free Party scene alongside ZMK Soundsystem. Their blend of tekno, hardtek, hardcore, and breaks spread across Europe through vinyl labels. From 2010, Stefan’s releases on Obs.Cur, Peur Bleue, Mackitek, and more fused acidic, cerebral, and industrial soundscapes with tekno and hardcore impact.

With his involvement in Cult Collective, Stefan ZMK’s sonic signature bridges genres across the European landscape. He’s graced Dominator, Q-base, Retro Acid, and more, gaining renown for fluid style transitions. Partnering with Li-Z, he co-curated the MXSRS radioshow on PRSPCT Radio during the first C19 lockdown. With over 23 years of experience, he’s a sought-after Dutch DJ in the free-party movement. In an industry known for diversity, Stefan ZMK’s dedication shines as an example of artistic commitment.

Along with Stefan, the enigma-shrouded and unsung associates of Hardline Soundsystem are set to reveal the unrelenting auditory warfare. Set forth on this odyssey where the speakers morph into an altar, and the dancefloor evolves into a disputed domain. Throughout the night, they shall forge a symphony that resonates with the primal, the coarse, and the unbridled essence of our musical journey.

GATHERING GUIDELINES

To ensure that all individuals who interact with us feel safe and comfortable, we operate under a zero-tolerance policy against any form of discrimination, including but not limited to racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and ableism. We are committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for individuals of all identities and sexual orientations, allowing them to express themselves authentically without apprehension of judgment or bias.

If you experience discomfort or come across any behavior that is reproachable, please contact an organizer as promptly as possible.

Please be respectful of the neighborhood and follow the instructions given by those involved in organizing the event. Be advised that taking photos or videos is strictly prohibited. We apologize for any inconvenience and note that, due to limited space, we may not be able to accommodate all who wish to attend.

Your adherence to these guidelines is both anticipated and valued.

SUPPORT THE COMMUNITY

Nestled within the heart of the underground tekno scene lies an intense vitality that cultivates awareness, molds convictions, and staunchly defies the existing. Through harmonious collaboration within, we are determined to dismantle the prevailing organizer-spectator dynamic that dictates profit-driven commercial entertainment spaces. Instead, we take charge by carefully crafting and orchestrating our own events.

We wholeheartedly reject the concept of passive consumption, striving diligently to nurture an atmosphere where each individual is embraced with open arms to actively participate, contribute, and immerse themselves in both the music and the thriving community it cultivates. A fundamental pillar of this ethos is our unyielding commitment to anti-commercialism, a principle that remains resolute. Despite the various financial commitments involved, we unwaveringly uphold the tradition of maintaining a contribution box at our event entrances, ensuring that financial limitations do not serve as barriers to entry.

To translate these ambitions into tangible realities and propel our ongoing pursuits forward, we depend on your invaluable financial support. Your contributions will directly play a role in sustaining vital initiatives such as the maintenance of our sound system, the evolution of our event spaces, covering transportation costs for artists, and much more. By providing us with financial backing, you seamlessly integrate into this project, championing the values of creativity and grassroots collaboration. Together, we forge a dynamic and all-embracing DIY music community that pays homage to the strength of collective expression.
